Floral Design Frolic Through Mindful Practice
Experience the exuberant joy of walking through a meadow of fresh blooms in our premier event at our new studio in Downtown Nederland. Utilizing the universal elements of balance, texture & intention, participants will work with novel design techniques to explore a unique style of floral arrangement.
This workshop will refine the simple pleasure of experiencing a flower as we learn to place each stem with a focus on intention and the many elements that a flower possesses. This class is a collaboration with Charity Weishar, a local reiki and mediation guide, who will be focusing our personal understanding of the moment as we teach using age-old practices and tools.
You will leave the class with an arrangement that signifies your creative self, a kenzan (floral frog) with which to create future designs & our heartfelt gratitude for taking a chance to explore the microcosms of flowers amongst friends.
